Frequently Asked Questions
If you can’t find your question answered here, or you’d rather talk to us direct please feel free to call us and we will be happy to answer on the spot!
How do I join your agency?
We only include people on our books who we have seen perform. The simplest way to get seen is to perform at our Finger in the Pie showcase. We organise the showcase on a monthly basis. The application form is here. once you’ve applied please drop us an email to firstname.lastname@example.org to let us know to look out for it. If your act is not suitable to include in the showcase – for example if it is an outdoor act, or involves rigging which we can’t accommodate at any of our venues please let us know and we’ll try to arrange a time to see you.
I already have an agent does that mean I can’t join your agency?
If you have someone who takes care of your bookings for you that’s no problem at all. We are still happy to advertise you via the site and if a client is interested negotiate your booking with your agent. Just give us their contact details when you apply.
Do you demand exclusivity from your acts?
Not at all! We expect all our artists to be represented by countless agencies – in fact as artists ourselves, who know how difficult it can be to find gigs, we’d advise you to be on the books of as many different agencies as possible. Our business isn’t to have a monopoly on performers but rather to offer outstanding customer service – giving our clients the best advice and booking experience we can.
Do I need my own insurance?
Yes you do need your own insurance. We require all our performers to have Public Liability Insurance (which should be to a minimum of £1,000,000 cover), your own equipment insurance, vehicle insurance and for carrying out the P.A.T. testing of their equipment where applicable. For more information check out our terms and conditions.
