How do I book a performer?

I’m not sure what kind of performer would be suitable, can you advise me?
Yes! We will be more than happy to help you in any of your queries regarding what kind of entertainment is suitable for your event and the prices accordingly.
How do I pay for the performer?
Finger in the Pie Entertainment agency take a deposit in advance to secure the booking, you then pay the entertainers the remainder on the day. For larger bookings you can also pay the entertainer after the event via invoice. Once your deposit is paid your booking will be confirmed.
How do I pay the deposit?
You can pay the deposit for your booking with a debit or credit card by calling us on 00208 887 7309. Or by sending a cheque made out to ‘Blue Pie Media Ltd’ to our office address here.
Can you help me plan the theme or look of my event?
Yes! We’re more than happy to supply you with a designer who’ll be able to talk through your event and suggest themes, costume ideas or decorations. We can also source and supply any decorations, lights, sound equipment or other supplies necessary to make your night the best it can be – we can even design the invitations for you.
How far in advance do I need to book?
Please give us as much notice as you can so that you will not be disappointed incase your preferred entertainer is not available, 6+ weeks notice is ideal though bear in mind that our bigger acts will book out several months in advance. If you do require an act at short notice please do give us a call as we can often accommodate – and can always advise of alternative acts if your first choice isn’t available.
What areas do you cover?
Finger in the Pie Entertainers are based throughout the UK and Ireland but have been known to go father afield too! Please see acts personal pages in order to see the regions they cover
What do your entertainers require us to provide?
Each performer differs greatly with what they require in terms of technical specifications, dressing room, set up time etc, please contact us to find out more abut the individual details for your chosen performer or look on their page on the website for more information.
Can you supply technical staff such as stage managers and sound engineers?
Yes, we can provide stage managers and lighting and sound technicians if your require them for your event to make sure that the whole show runs smoothly and seamlessly.
What kind of venues will you come to?
Our entertainers can attend a party anywhere; at home, in a large venue or indeed at a festival outdoors – the choices are endless. Each entertainer is different so please check their individual page or call us to find out if your venue is suitable.
Will I be able to see my Act in advance?
All of our acts regularly appear through out venues in the UK. Please contact us if you’d like to find out when an act is next performing. Alternatively several of our entertainers have video and sound clips to give you an idea of what you will be getting on the day.
I need to cancel my act, what should I do?
Please contact us as soon as possible and as long as we can find an alternative equivalent event for the performer to attend there will be no charge to you – we will always endeavor to find the performer another event to attend. Please refer to our terms and conditions page for cancellation fees and more information on our charges for very last minute cancellations.
