As part of Enfield Council’s celebrations of the re-opening of Forty Hall we were commissioned to create a parade and community arts event based around the 1633 Lord Mayors Parade of Nicholas Rainton, Lord Mayor of London, and original occupant of Forty Hall. We worked with two theatre companies putting together a team of 10 actors, 9 entertainers including period musicians, fire jugglers and stilt walkers as well as 15 community volunteers to create the event. Working from initial concept through project management to delivery – we created two parades, one in Enfield which was repeated as part of the 2012 Lord Mayors Parade, as well as an evenings sight specific carnival in the grounds of Forty Hall itself. We are now working with Enfield Council on their plans for Forty Hall 2013.
